Colorado is experiencing on an extreme scale what the rest of the country is experiencing, U.S. demand for leisure travel is booming. This combined with a very active wild-fire season, a fuel truck driver shortage and fuel refinery issues are creating fuel supply shortages for the entire Rocky Mountain region. To maintain ample supplies, we are asking that customers tanker additional fuel into Colorado, and limit uplifts to 200 gallons/aircraft. The Vail Valley Jet Center is in turn is waiving all facilities fees. We are in the process of adding more dedicated trucking to our supply chain and we anticipate the trucking issue turning the corner in approximately two weeks. Other fuel supply chain impacts could affect our region for quite some time however.
